MSDW Insight: Microsoft’s work to integrate their UCaaS and CCaaS offerings adds depth to the D365 Contact Center story.

Teams Phone extensibility for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center has reached general availability, the company has announced.

Customers can use their existing Teams Phone licenses with D365 Contact Center. Teams Phone has calling plans accessible in 36 countries, Operator Connect available in 96 countries, and Direct Routing offered worldwide, according to Microsoft.

This integration reached GA in August, according to 2025 Release Wave 1 plans from Microsoft. They announced the preview of this feature for their contact center as-a-service (CCaaS) offering in March 2025.
