Microsoft MVP Murray Fife Wraps Up AX Companion Book Series, Celebrates With Special Discount

AX Companion Book SeriesMicrosoft Dynamics AX MVP Murray Fife has just completed his AX Companion Book Series, an eighteen month effort that now includes fifteen guides that explain how to install and configure all of the base modules. And to celebrate, he is offering MSDynamicsWorld.com readers a new coupon code, which you can find at the end of this article.

And this week, Fife made another announcement - he will be joining Microsoft later this month as a Dynamics AX technical expert and product evangelist in the sales group. He describes it as a "supersized" version of what he does now (which includes a range of excellent webcasts and articles for the MSDW audience).

Even with the move to Microsoft, Fife remains optimistic that the AX 2012 guides will continue to improve. He expects new releases of the guides that will add more content, sample data, test scenarios, and more explanations of the items that could use it.

Fife also says he was happy to complete the series before the AX 7 release. But good news: the parity of AX 2012 R3 and AX 7 in terms of module-level capabilities should allow the books to remain relevant for the next major release - with just some updates to account for the UI changes.
