Scribe Integration Platform OK'd for Canada's Federal Agencies

Data integration provider Scribe Software has announced the approval of its Scribe Insight integration platform for Canada's Software Licensing Supply Arrangement (SLSA) for use with the Canadian federal government's Shared Case Management System (SCMS), which is built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SCMS is a new-in-2015 Canadian initiative, one aimed at reducing red tape in government, using Dynamics CRM as a single source of information between agencies. As Canada's Fed describes it:

This centrally-procured system will allow us to offer clients increased electronic access to services, along with streamlined processing of determinations and decisions. To further support the Government's focus on efficient, streamlined service delivery, the Agency will implement several shared services and systems in finance, human resources and information technology. As a high-performing organization, we will continue to provide our employees with the tools and support they need to perform at their highest level.

SCMS is aimed at providing single-instance application management services (including hosting services) for the Government of Canada. It provides inexpensive licenses to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with rates "far below any existing standing offer," according to Canadian government sources.  

Canada's federal government agencies who decide to integrate their existing systems with SCMS may purchase the integration platform through Scribe's strategic partner, A Hundred Answers, at a pre-negotiated price, bypassing months of competitive bidding and procurement paperwork.
