Nearly three quarters of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD customers experience account takeovers: Vendor report

A new survey of Microsoft customers found that 71 percent reported experiencing malicious takeovers of legitimate Microsoft accounts an average of seven times over the last year. And thirty percent of the organizations experienced an account takeover every month.

The findings come from cybersecurity solutions firm Vectra AI and their newest report (behind a registration form) on threat detection for Microsoft Azure AD and Microsoft Office 365, based on threats Vectra detected in its customer's accounts.
