Microsoft Dynamics CRM spring release wave goes global

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM spring 2014 release wave, including core customer service enhancements and new product releases for marketing and social listening, are now globally available in 54 markets and 42 languages.

This release wave marks the re-introduction of two previously acquired products that are designed to work closely with Dynamics CRM. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing - formerly MarketingPilot - offers enterprise scale marketing resource management and automation capabilities. And Microsoft Social Listening, based on the Netbreeze acquisition, provides monitoring of brand and company sentiment across a range of social channels. 

The new release also provides Dynamics CRM 2013 and CRM Online customers with a range of customer service updates. The updates started rolling out to Dynamics CRM Online customers about 10 days ago and are now available to on-premise customers through Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1.

Expanded availability of Dynamics CRM Online begins this month in Turkey, with other countries planned, according to Microsoft.

Microsoft has also started promoting early successes with Microsoft Social Listening (MSL). A new blog post from Dynamics CRM corporate vice president Bob Stutz explains that Social Listening is available to CRM Online customers with 10 or more professional seats at no additional charge. And he highlights two companies that are already using the product.

German bank Creditplus has been using MSL "to monitor their brand and understand customer sentiment." Salzgitter AG, a major European steel manufacturer, who are using MSL to track news and sentiment on their brand and to monitor competitor sentiment. And Sealord, a global sustainable fishing enterprise, is using MSL to better understand its stakeholders' sentiment on industry and sustainability issues.
