Outbound segments used in real-time journeys notification
On her blog, Megan Walker wrote that if you use Customer Insights – Journeys, formerly part of Dynamics 365 Marketing, you should be aware that Microsoft will retire outbound marketing in June 2025.
Walker stated that after that outbound emails, journeys, and segments will no longer be available. She explained that this is important because currently, you can access your outbound segments in real time and use them with real-time journeys, which might make you overlook them.
In her blog post, Walker explained how to set up an email alert to notify you whenever outbound segments are used. She stated that this will help you keep track of your outbound segments, especially if you’re not sure which journeys are using outbound segments or if users are creating them in real time.
