Episerver Hires Microsoft Dynamics Channel Veteran Mike Rogers

Mike RogersDigital commerce, content, and campaign management vendor Episerver has hired Microsoft channel veteran Mike Rogers as partner sales manager to drive their Dynamics business.

Rogers joins the company after departing Hitachi Solutions America, where he spent several years as Vice President of Marketing after joining via the acquisition of his previous firm, Customer Effective.

His role at Episerver, which is a new position, indicates the company is looking to increase its engagement with Dynamics 365 ERP and CRM partners as the demand for digital transformation projects grow, Rogers told MSDW in an interview.

"While Episerver has worked with the more classic Microsoft partner in the past, we are now seeing a steady flow of business with partners focused on complex CRM, ERP, and BI use cases that are simplified by not only the complementary technology but, of course, the implementation. This combination is helping organizations create standout experiences," said Rogers. "We have broken ground with Dynamics partner relationships and Episerver's investment in this role gives way to build on this vision."

Rogers expects to be an evangelist to the channel, educating and recruiting partners who may not yet have a compelling content, commerce, and customer experience story to tell alongside their Dynamics solutions of choice.

"We're in a new world where people aren't deploying point commerce solutions," said Rogers. "If they go for digital commerce, they want it to work along with their content strategy, search optimization, marketing, personalization, and more."
