Hitachi Solutions America acquires Microsoft Dynamics CRM firm Customer Effective

Hitachi Solutions America has acquired the Microsoft Dynamics CRM consultancy Customer Effective, according to a new announcement from the companies.

Customer Effective CEO Scott Millwood will become the Senior Vice President of Hitachi Solutions Global CRM practice. The company's leadership and employees - they reportedly have about 90 Dynamics CRM resources - will remain in place and be integrated into Hitachi Solutions' Global CRM practice, according to the announcement.

Hitachi Solutions noted in its announcement that Customer Effective's financial sector expertise made them an attractive acquisition target based on Hitachi's belief in focusing on industries.  From the announcement:
