SalesPad to Invest $3.85 Million, Add 91 Jobs in Michigan

SalesPad LLC, which publishes add-ons to Microsoft Dynamics GP and Intuit QuickBooks, is investing $3.85 million and boosting its software development operations by adding 91 employees in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This nearly doubles SalesPad's workforce of 110.

The company's Dynamics GP offerings include SalesPad GP, an all in­ one order entry, inventory, purchasing, and sales management solution "that integrates seamlessly with your Microsoft Dynamics GP data," according to the company.

The investment is funded in part by a $364,000 Michigan Strategic Fund grant from Michigan Economic Development Corporation, secured with help from West Michigan economic development agency The Right Place, Inc.

SalesPad is expanding to ensure that it can meet the demand for its products as well as to supplement its existing workforce and development talent, according to company officials.

"We need innovative, creative, tech-savvy software developers and support specialists to keep up with our company's growth," said SalesPad CEO Pete Eardley in statement. "We also need more space to put those talented people."

SalesPad President Matt Williams said the company needs tech talent to grow and it is committed to hiring people from Grand Rapids.

Founded in 2003 by Eardley and Williams, SalesPad aims to help its customers be more productive and efficient by providing enterprise software products that work with applications like Dynamics GP and QuickBooks. The company also develops customized software solutions for small and midsize businesses.
