Microsoft to partners: Dynamics CRM pursuing aggressive customer growth, product improvement, integrated vision

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online revenue from partners has doubled in the last year, and the company wants to encourage an even greater push in the next year based on new features, new promotions, and more compelling platform integration.

That was the message to Microsoft partners at last week's Worldwide Partner Conference 2014 in Washington DC from the Dynamics CRM team. At a Dynamics CRM update presentation, managers discussed expanding the product's feature sets in customer service, social, marketing, and core CRM functions.

And Microsoft appears to be planning an aggressive new offer in September that bundles Dynamics CRM Online, Office 365 E3, and Power BI. Partners at WPC 2014 were told during the presentation that there is a new sales productivity offer coming on September 1 that will offer these three Microsoft-hosted products for $90 per user per month "if you are new to the Microsoft Business Cloud." 

July 25 UPDATE: A Microsoft spokesperson has now clarified that the pricing mentioned at WPC was $90 (not $9), and that "current pricing for sales productivity is $90 per user per month".

Microsoft will stay busy with Dynamics CRM product updates through the rest of 2014, according to principal program manager Param Kahlon. They plan to do quarterly updates to Social Listening, a new release for Dynamics Marketing, and a new release for core Dynamics CRM around sales and customer service capabilities.
