HSO acquires New Zealand-based data and AI specialist Aware

Technology services firm HSO has acquisition of New Zealand-based Aware Group.

Aware has served clients for nearly a decade with a focus on adding machine learning and generative AI capabilities to their data strategies, according to the company.

“As part of HSO, we will be able to accelerate our mission to create a worldwide impact with Data and AI,” stated Brandon Hutcheson, CEO of Aware. “HSO's deep industry knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 together with Aware's proven expertise in developing and deploying customized AI and data processing solutions, position us as a leading global force in the rapidly evolving AI business landscape.”

This is HSO’s sixth acquisition since investment firm Carlyle took an ownership stake in HSO in 2019.
