Microsoft channel veterans HSO acquire AKA, gaining new US leadership

Technology services firm HSO has acquired US-based Microsoft partner AKA Enterprise Solutions.

Following the acquisition, AKA founders Alan Kahn and Jack Ades will lead HSO’s combined operations in the United States, according to an HSO statement.

The AKA acquisition is "an important milestone in the execution of HSO’s strategy to strengthen its position as the global partner of choice for business transformation leveraging Microsoft’s cloud business applications," HSO stated.

The deal represents a merger of two well-recognized veterans of the Microsoft channel.

HSO is a Netherlands-based firm that was founded in 1989 and has over 800 employees globally. They were awarded Microsoft's partner award for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The company took funding from private equity firm The Carlyle Group in July 2019 for the purposes of expansion.

AKA is a Gold certified for Dynamics 365 and they have a long history of recognition by Microsoft for their channel performance. They were named to Microsoft's 2020 Inner Circle for business apps and received the 2020 Eagle Award as a top-three partner for annual attainment and customer adds.
