CRMUG Summit: End User Needs Drive Event Planning, Says Program Director
The point of the CRMUG Summit, says CRMUG Program Director Tony Stein, "Is that it simply helps people maximize the value of CRM."
Expect little flash at the October 13-16 conference in Reno, Nevada. Instead CRMUG Summit 2015 will offer more than 150 role-based sessions designed for Dynamics CRM users of all experience, a M*A*S*H tent of MVPs to diagnose CRM challenges, and Conduit sessions to meet directly with Microsoft R&D.
CRMUG Summit is one of four events run concurrently by Dynamics Communities Inc., or DCI (alongside AXUG, NAVUG and GPUG Summits). DCI is member-driven and independent of Microsoft, but is recognized by Microsoft.
Stein has a Dynamics CRM pedigree beyond CRMUG. He spent seven years with Microsoft, where he held the titles of Partner Readiness Manager and Business Development Manager, both for Dynamics CRM. So he's a veteran CRM evangelist, and spoke with MSDynamicsWorld.com about his outlook on the CRMUG Summit.
MSDW: What can attendees expect at CRMUG Summit that they didn't find at Convergence?
Stein: We're solely focused on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, predominantly from an existing CRM user's viewpoint.
