Sonoma Partners announces xRM-based Windows 8 app for managing military personnel and strength levels

Sonoma Partners announced that its DefenseReady Daily Standup app has hit the Windows 8 App Store.

Daily Standup PERSTEMPO

Developed jointly by Sonoma Partners and Permuta Technologies, the Daily Standup app works with DefenseReady, Permuta's xRM solution for Department of Defense organizations that manages personnel and resource information at the local level in order to accurately assess readiness.  The app gives military commanders and leaders real-time insight into Personnel Tempo , or PERSTEMPO, the number of days a troop has been away from home. It also gives leaders insight into strength levels throughout their organizations.

The app was inspired by SOCOM's (United States Special Operations Command) Preservation of the Force and Families Task Force and it was designed exclusively for use with the DefenseReady platform, according to company officials.

The app is optimized for touch-screen control via mobile devices using Windows 8. With a few easy swipes of the mobile device, military leaders can get detailed visibility into data about their forces that previously took many hours for staff to retrieve and compile, officials said.

DefenseReady Daily Standup can work both online and offline and will sync with real time data when a DefenseReady server is available.
