Green Beacon Solutions announced it has completed an implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox are using Green Beacon's sports marketing xRM solution, Sports CRM, with the goals of increasing targeted customer interactions, managing opportunities, and improving customer service at Boston's Fenway Park.

The project integrated information from various sources, including the Red Sox ticketing system into the solution so the team could get access to critical business development data in real time.

"The Boston Red Sox organization is driven to ensure that every fan has a consistent, high quality experience each time they visit Fenway Park," said Ron Bumgarner, Senior Vice President/Ticketing at the Boston Red Sox, in a statement. "The improved visibility into the consumer preferences of our fans is helping us achieve that goal."

According to Green Beacon, the Red Sox plan to use the new Dynamics CRM solution to improve visibility of data to more departments within the organization; to improve the full customer view and enable predictive analytics for promotions and marketing programs; to manage opportunities for premium seating and other programs and activities; and to increase overall customer satisfaction.

"In today's competitive marketplace, sports organizations like the Boston Red Sox need to use innovative technologies to drive their business forward," said Benjamin Holtz, President and CEO of Green Beacon Solutions, in the statement. "We are proud that our implementation of Microsoft Dynamics xRM and ‘Sports CRM' will provide the Red Sox with key tools to effectively manage their inventory, and improve the fan's overall experience."
