Enterprise Social Vendor Sprinklr Taps Microsoft Azure for New, Joint Customers

Cloud enterprise social management software vendor Sprinklr is extending its platform to Microsoft Azure to power new joint Microsoft-Sprinklr customers.

In addition to broad use of Azure technology, the solution will integrate Sprinklr's experience management platform with Microsoft Dynamics CRM; Microsoft's business analytics suite, Power BI; and Office 365 to power a next-gen experience management suite hosted on Azure, say the companies.

Sprinklr offers enterprise social media management solutions "to help large brands create, manage, and optimize valuable social experiences that customers will love" across more than 20 social channels and brand websites, according to company officials.

The aim of the Sprinklr platform is to help large enterprises create and cultivate customer relationships by enabling more intuitive, consistent and personalized experiences at every digital touchpoint. Microsoft has been a Sprinklr customer since 2010.

Microsoft and Sprinklr are working on an Azure-hosted solution to streamline business processes across sales, marketing and customer service, Allison Watson, corporate vice president, U.S. Marketing and Operations at Microsoft, stated in a blog post.

"Our vision for a solution of this kind is to deliver actionable insights from unstructured social data along with other enterprise data sources and systems of record, so every department, from marketing to sales to customer service, can see and engage customers not as disjointed data points, but as people," Watson stated.

Microsoft is already working with Sprinklr to extend its platform and its cloud-based offerings for future joint customers to Azure.
