Cavallo Announces Product Suite Launch for Improved Distribution

Cavallo Announces Product Suite Launch for Improved Distribution

The company’s Product Premiere Week will debut software that improves execution, control and intelligence for an optimized distribution strategy

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (Oct. 5, 2021)—Cavallo, the only technology provider to deliver on-premises and cloud solutions specifically for mid-market distributors, today premiered three distribution product solutions including Distribution Cloud, Analytics Cloud and Cavallo Salespad. Cavallo’s product offerings unlock new possibilities for distribution data and more.

The product showcase is taking place at Product Premiere Week, Oct. 5-7 and will be available in November to all industry verticals. The highly anticipated launch follows Cavallo’s summer rebrand, when the company, formerly known as SalesPad, announced new product initiatives that included cloud computing and distribution business intelligence.

“Even the leading ERP and CRM packages can’t meet the specific needs of distributors. They require the smarter software solutions Cavallo provides,” said Jeremy Boogaart, senior vice president of product at Cavallo. “With our updated solutions, both new and existing customers can easily integrate any of these products into their distribution cycle. This is an exciting time of growth for Cavallo, and we’re eager to provide the industry with the innovative tools they need.”

Offering both cloud-based and on-premises capabilities, Cavallo will provide enhanced execution and control to distributors with the following products:

  • Distribution Cloud: Premiering on Oct. 5, Distribution Cloud serves both sales and CSR teams with robust customer, sales and order management features built specifically for distributors and distribution operations. It provides top-notch customer experience while maximizing profits and efficiency and combines the flexibility of a CRM platform with an ERP system’s breadth of data. Distributors can maintain accurate inventory counts down to the item level, know the status of every order in any system and provide a new level of personalized experience, all while maintaining control over sales and order operations.
  • Cavallo SalesPad: The world's top solution for extending the life and performance of Microsoft Dynamics GP has gained new features and added integration for popular eCommerce platforms. Premiering Oct. 7, the product dramatically improves distribution operations, and the distributor-designed software manages workflows from customer to cash.

Additionally, Cavallo’s cloud-based intelligence tool delivers real-time analysis to guide optimization for distribution businesses — all powered by machine learning.

  • Cavallo Analytics Cloud: Debuting Oct. 6, Analytics Cloud plugs into existing technology stacks to provide an instant look into the health of distribution operations. With this tool, customers can uncover inefficiencies, streamline bloated processes and recover lost profits. By removing limits from data retrieval and boosting analysis capabilities, Analytics Cloud keeps decision-making clear and simple.

For Cavallo’s first Distribution Cloud beta customer, OSIS, the software upgrade has yielded tremendous results for the company.

“Cavallo’s distribution solutions give us the insights into each item our customers are buying and why they need them,” said Michelle Doll, procurement manager at OSIS. “As OSIS continues to expand, we plan to utilize the efficiencies this suite of products provides to match our growth.”

Mid-Market Distribution Technology Provider SalesPad Rebrands to Cavallo, Introduces New Cloud-Based Software Solutions

Mid-Market Distribution Technology Provider SalesPad Rebrands to Cavallo, Introduces New Cloud-Based Software Solutions

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Cavallo, the only technology provider delivering on-premises and cloud solutions specifically for mid-market distributors, announced it has rebranded from SalesPad. The new brand name supports the company’s aggressive product expansion and strategic move into distribution business intelligence.

cavallo-logo.png
“The distribution industry has changed more in the past five years than it had in the previous 20 and the pace of change is accelerating. Since our founding we have helped our customers achieve dramatic operational and financial gains by providing tools that just work for distribution,” said Mike Biwer, chief executive officer of Cavallo. “As we listened to our customers considering a move to the cloud, it was clear that today’s leading ERP and CRM providers were not meeting distributor-specific needs.”

Cavallo's Distribution Cloud platform provides the capabilities distributors need to reach their full potential, delivered through three product families:

  • Execution: New cloud-based products designed to increase efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and grow revenues by providing sales and customer service teams with user-friendly tools to manage customers, generate quotes, create orders and generate approvals.
  • Control: Workflow management solutions made to accelerate the customer-to-cash cycle and expand gross margin. With Control, distributors can tame business complexity with configurable, distribution-specific processes and approval paths, supported by smart automation.
  • Intelligence: Distribution analytics capabilities, built to support proactive, data-driven decisions to optimize distribution operations. Enabled by real-time visibility and bolstered by historical context, distributors will be alerted to bottlenecks as they are initially forming, allowing managers to address issues before they become problems.

“Our new Distribution Cloud platform raises the bar for those customers ready to move to the cloud,” said Matt Abbott, chief strategy officer of Cavallo. “That said, we recognize that many distributors prefer to keep their infrastructure on-premises for the foreseeable future. With the promise to meet distributors wherever they are in their digital journey, Cavallo will continue to invest heavily in our flagship on-premises platform, while providing multiple paths to the cloud for companies with varying time horizons and risk profiles.”

Cavallo Distribution Cloud will be released in early Q4 2021 with an initial focus on distributors running or considering the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP. Leveraging the company’s new unified ERP framework, Cavallo will quickly expand Distribution Cloud into other ERP ecosystems.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - SalesPad, a Grand Rapids-based Operational ERP software company, today announced new partner levels for the SalesPad Desktop Partner Program, which recognizes companies actively selling Microsoft Dynamics GP.

"Ever since SalesPad was founded, our partners have played a valuable role in our mission to help distributors and manufacturers enhance Dynamics GP," said Matt Williams, CEO of SalesPad. "The companies at the top of this list have demonstrated great commitment to making SalesPad a top choice for their clients and have also invested time and resources into being experts in our products. Partner levels are awarded based on revenue generation for each partner company and are compared against total SalesPad Desktop partner revenue. Levels are recalculated every Jan. 1 and July 1.
