SilverPop Adds Microsoft Dynamics CRM Integration to Engage Platform

Digital marketing solution provider SilverPop has announced a new integration between its Engage marketing platform and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  The move adds a second presence for Silverpop in this market, following its recent acquisition of CoreMotives

For a Dynamics CRM customer, the choice between SilverPop's Engage and CoreMotives products is at least partly a question of how to manage marketing automation activities.  "Marketers with more advanced marketing automation or higher-volume email marketing needs" who do not seek a solution that is self-contained in Dynamics CRM will more likely opt for Engage, Silverpop explained in a statement.

The Silverpop Engage platform covers a range of digital marketing capabilities, from email automation, landing pages, and lead nurturing to web analytics, reporting, and multichannel marketing.

Silverpop partnered with Dynamics mainstays Scribe Software and Celenia to deliver the integration.  The Engage platform supports integration via an API library for real-time, application-level data, as well as automated batch processing via secure FTP.

According to the company, a third of Silverpop customers are now using Engage and 20 percent of the company's new business in 2011 was tied to partner relationships.  Silverpop will also have a sponsorship presence at WPC next week.
