Scribe Software sees 525 percent Q3 growth in cloud business, adds SmartFocus integration

Customer data integration specialists Scribe Software announced a new partnership with cloud marketing providers SmartFocus, formerly Emailvision, to integrate their cloud-based marketing platform to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. And they also announced that they achieved record bookings increases in Q3 2013.

The new integration partnership with SmartFocus adds to Scribe's growing list of CRM connectors, which includes other marketing-related solution providers like Marketo, ExactTarget, and Silverpop, as well as On24, Znode, and others.

"I've known Scribe for years as an innovative, reliable technology provider for Microsoft Dynamics customers and partners," said Brad Wilson, chief executive officer of SmartFocus and former worldwide general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  "Partnering with them will provide a great solution for customers who are relying on SmartFocus and Microsoft Dynamics to drive their business forward." Wilson joined the company in February of 2013 after departing Microsoft in early 2012. SmartFocus was in the Dynamics CRM space before Wilson joined. In mid-2012 they released an integration to Dynamics CRM, still under their old brand name.

"Our partnership with cloud marketing leader SmartFocus continues our mission to deliver the most comprehensive, end-to-end platform for customer data integration across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments," said Scribe CEO Lou Guercia.

Growth of the company's cloud business is the other news of the day.  They report that bookings for Scribe Online grew 525 percent in Q3 2013 compared to the previous year, with much of that growth coming from the Microsoft and Salesforce markets.
