Scribe Software offers Connector for the new InsideView Open API

InsideView's newly released Open Platform for sales and market intelligence data has a new online connector built by Scribe Software, the companies announced today.

The connector brings a ready-made interface to dozens of existing applications, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The Dynamics CRM integration has been developed by Microsoft partner Armanino.

InsideView announced its Open Platform earlier this month. The platform's API gives access to InsideView's market intelligence from any application that uses it.  Other "charter" API partners include marketing automation solution provider Salesfusion, predictive analytics provider Fliptop, and manufacturing sales solutions provider RepMatrix.

This is Scribe's first collaboration with InsideView.  The integration of the Open Platform with Dynamics CRM is separate from InsideView's existing co-innovation arrangement with Microsoft, which offers the pre-built Insights solution for Dynamics CRM Online (though there are more comprehensive paid versions).  Insights embeds InsideView sales and marketing intelligence data within Dynamics CRM's web interface. In June Insights added the ability to post into Yammer feeds.

Scott Mangelson of Armanino said "By using Scribe's new InsideView Connector, the integration into our customers' Microsoft Dynamics CRM environments was accomplished in a fraction of the time it would have taken to build the code from scratch."
