Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to add InsideView social sales data for pro users

Microsoft is sprucing up its Dynamics CRM 2013 release activities with new data services for CRM Online customers and the promise of smartphone apps for Windows Phone, iPhone, and Andorid arriving in the next month.

First, Microsoft has confirmed that it will release Dynamics CRM 2013 for on-premise and partner-hosted deployments on October 31, a date that is in line with the company's earlier guidance.

InsideView

And Dynamics CRM Online users will soon get access to InsideView for Sales integrated into their CRM web interface at no extra charge.  The "co-innovation" OEM arrangement with InsideView, a provider of social and contact intelligence for businesses,  will bring a "Social Insight" panel into CRM for entities like accounts and contacts, giving access to additional data about companies, contacts, and relationships that InsideView compiles from as many as 30,000 sources. The added functionality will roll out in the US in October, with a broader rollout coming later in 2014.
