Microsoft publishes 2025 Release Wave 1 Plans for Biz Apps, Role-based Copilots, Industry Clouds

Microsoft has added a new volume to its semiannual release wave planning for business applications with the announcement of updates coming in 2025 Release Wave 1. 

Along with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Cloud for Industry plans, the company has separated out “Role-based Copilot offerings” for sales, service, and finance into a new plan.

Early access to the new features and experiences will begin in non-production environments on February 3, 2025, wrote director of PM Ryan Darby Martin. The features in these plans will be arriving to customers between April and September 2025.
