Tevron Announces Support For All Microsoft Dynamics Environments With Its APM and Testing Solutions
Tevron's testing and application monitoring tools now offer full support for the entire Microsoft Dynamics product line, the company announced late last week.
According to Tevron Vice President Jay Labadini, who said this is the company's first foray into the Dynamics market, his company is the only one that fully supports all Microsoft Dynamics products.
"As companies across the world move towards Microsoft Dynamics, Tevron's APM & testing solutions will continue to offer the industry lead for application monitoring, load testing, and general automation for those deployments," according to the Nashua, New Hampshire-based company.
Labadini said with the company's CitraTest VU load testing tool customers can replicate the number of users that their environments can support concurrently and measure the overall performance.
"So before customer would go live with Dynamics it would run a load test and replicate X numbers of users that they plan on supporting to make sure that everything is going to run as expected in production," he said.
Labadini explained that at the time a customer goes live with its Dynamics environment, that is when an active monitoring solution like Tevron's CitraTest APM comes into play.
"It places robots at customer locations," he said. "The robots are dedicated monitoring PCs or virtual machines like VMware that run real user transactions and measure the real-time performance from each one of those robots and reports back to a centralized database."
He said that gives the IT group the ability to know exactly how the applications are performing from each location in terms of such things as uptime, downtime and measuring SLAs (service level agreements).
