Microsoft is losing more Dynamics 365 R&D leadership, now on the CRM side

Several senior R&D managers in Microsoft's Dynamics 365 team appear to be in the process of leaving the company.

UPDATE (March 23): MSDW has confirmed that Param Kahlon, who had been a GM for Dynamics 365 Customer Experience apps, has also departed the company

Multiple sources with first-hand knowledge say that Kishan Chetan, principal program manager overseeing Dynamics 365 for Marketing, is departing the company. Two other high level Dynamics 365 R&D managers covering sales and service applications are believed to be leaving the company shortly, according to the same sources, though MSDW has not confirmed it.

Microsoft had no comment on any departures.

The reported personnel losses around Dynamics 365 customer experience come at a critical time for the products, with the new Marketing and scaled-down Sales apps still working their way toward release, along with the broad and ongoing upgrade window for the v9.0 CRM cloud release.

Some partners familiar with these rumored and confirmed departures have also voiced concern about who within Microsoft CVP James Phillips' organization will step in and fill roles left by veteran R&D managers like Chetan, the other CRM managers, and the recently departed Sri Srinivasan on the Finance and Operations, Enterprise side.
