TekStack signs asset purchase agreement to acquire SalesSpark

TekStack Inc., a provider of software products for B2B SaaS companies acquired SalesSpark Inc., a sales acceleration app powered by the Microsoft Power Platform.

Under the agreement, TekStack now owns the product, brand, and all other assets of SalesSpark. TekStack will incorporate SalesSpark into its existing product offering and make the app commercially available on AppSource for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales customers, according to the company.

SalesSpark was founded by the late John Gravely in December 2019. He and his partners eventually discontinued their efforts.

The TekStack Sales Accelerator enables sales reps, business development reps, and customer success reps to engage with buyers through a series of "choreographed" steps, increasing outbound productivity, in part, by providing users with activity reminders to engage with buyers at the right time, the company said.

"Our new reality is virtual selling. There is more pressure than ever to increase funnel and sales reps have to use a new set of muscles to do so," said TekStack CEO Marc DiGiorgio. "We are delighted to offer this capability to our customers. Sales Acceleration tools can make an immediate impact on growing funnel, at a very low cost."

Mazars announces first Microsoft IP product, Mazars DataPath360 for Healthcare

Mazars, an audit, tax, and advisory firm, has released Mazars DataPath360 for Healthcare on AppSource.  This new Mazars/Microsoft IP offering is the first in a series of industry-specific offerings leveraging Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, robotic process automation, and the Power Platform.

Mazars DataPath360 for Healthcare gives companies quick operational support analytics and key insights to improve vendor management, optimize reimbursement processes, enhance financial outcomes, enrich quality of care, and mitigate risk, according to the company.

The vendor management module, the first in the lineup from Mazars, incorporates a robust set of report visualizations built using Microsoft's Power BI and embedded in Dynamics 365.

Chaser releases Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration for accounts receivables automation

Chaser, a credit control automation platform and service provider, is now integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Chaser helps organizations automate their accounts receivables and credit control processes.

Chaser for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central features and benefits include:

  • Cloud-to-cloud integration between D365BC and Chaser.
  • Automated and personalized invoice payment chasing.
  • The bilateral sync reconciles payments in-app, so that paid invoices are no longer chased.
  • Automated "thank you for paying" emails for customers who have paid.

With Chaser, companies can more easily track all overdue and outstanding invoices per customer and view all payment chasing activity in one place, according to the company.

"In today's economy, businesses are turning to cloud solutions like Chaser Credit Control and Debt Collections to quickly and seamlessly integrate with their current accounting packages like Dynamics 365 Business Central," said Sonia Dorais, CEO of Chaser.

Plumbline Consulting collaborates with Microsoft Corporation to launch spring update for overlay that brings Dynamics SL functionality to Dynamics 365 Business Central

Plumbline Consulting (DBA as Progressus) has announced that in collaboration with Microsoft, it has launched the spring release for the Microsoft Dynamics SL overlay to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The overlay adds new features to cloud-based D365BC based on feedback from the Dynamics SL and Business Central user communities, according to the company. Available on AppSource, the overlay is offered to all D365BC users at no additional cost.

"When we first launched the overlay last fall, we had tremendous feedback from both the Dynamics SL and Business Central user communities," said Joseph Longo, CEO and president of Plumbline Consulting. Combining that feedback with what our team already had in the queue, resulted in our spring release and an early summer release that is now scheduled for June,” said Joseph Longo, CEO and President of Plumbline Consulting.

Talkdesk Announces Strategic Partnership with Microsoft to Help Enterprises Deliver More Personalized Customer Experiences

Contact center solution vendor Talkdesk announced an expanded partnership with Microsoft that includes an embedded experience in Dynamics 365.

Automatic data syncs between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Talkdesk contact center data ensures information in both systems is always up to date, according to the company. The embedded experience gives agents click-to-call, screen pops and other features to accelerate customer service. Agents can also view contextual data, like interaction history, to better personalize conversations, according to the company.

Microsoft and Talkdesk will also pursue other strategic joint initiatives and plan for other enhancements and additional integrations across other Microsoft products, the company stated.

“For enterprises to achieve their customer experience ambitions, they must leverage all the available resources and put them to work in smarter ways,” said Charanya Kannan, chief product officer, Talkdesk. “In more closely pairing Talkdesk CX Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365, we’re putting deep contextual data at their fingertips, giving them a powerful tool for building comprehensive and remarkably personalized customer journeys.”
