JustFoodERP Launches ERP Package for Food Distributors

JustFoodERP has rolled out a new ERP package aimed at food distributors looking to modernize their systems.

Based on the Microsoft Dynamics platform, JustFoodERP's new package offers food distributors an integrated solution for sales, purchasing, planning, inventory management, food safety, warehouse management, shipping and logistics management, according to the company.

"Legacy technology solutions are simply not able to support the information requirements now required by the growing food distributor," said Marc DiGiorgio, Vice President of JustFoodERP, in a statement. "The demand for accurate real-time inventory and costing information is increasing in its importance to food distributors, especially as profit margins get squeezed. JustFoodERP and Microsoft recognize that it is doubly difficult to consider a capital expense like a new ERP investment during times like this, and for this reason, have created a new pricing model that reduces this investment by a sizeable amount." 

Borroughs Corporation, LLC Goes Live on Microsoft Dynamics AX with First Tech Direct

First Tech Direct LLC, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, announced a new implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 at Borroughs Corp., a manufacturer of industrial storage equipment, office storage equipment, library shelving, and high-density mobile systems.

Borroughs implemented nearly all of the Dynamics AX modules including finance, production, projects, warehouse management, CRM, shop floor control and business intelligence. Borroughs was also the first Microsoft Dynamics AX customer to go live on Microsoft's Management Reporter for financial statements, according to the company.
