Mike GillisDXC Technology has appointed veteran enterprise software executive Mike Gillis to lead the company's North American Microsoft practice.

"As general manager, Gillis will have overall responsibility for the DXC Eclipse practice within the larger DXC organization, which includes Tampa-based subsidiaries Tribridge and Concerto Cloud Services," a spokesperson told MSDW.

DXC Technology acquired Tribridge and Concerto in July 2017. The company more recently acquired Sable37 and eBECS, which gave the company a broader international footprint.

Gillis has a 30 year career in enterprise software including work with SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics. In the Microsoft channel, he is perhaps best known for co-founding and leading Dynamics partner Iteration2, then selling the firm to Hitachi Solutions America in 2007 and later becoming the firm's president and global COO until 2016.

Gillis has most recently been leading DynamicsAMO, a growing application management outsourcing firm focused on support and services for existing customers. He told MSDW that news of his new role spread quickly through the Dynamics ecosystem this week, resulting in a flood of well wishes. It was a gratifying start to a new chapter.

"DXC is in a unique position to capitalize on and expand on Microsoft's integrated cloud offerings," said Gillis.
