Microsoft Dynamics GP ISV Deal: Rockton Software acquires Olympic Systems

Microsoft Dynamics ISV Rockton Software announced it is acquiring fellow vendor Olympic Systems.

Olympic is known for its project costing solution, Olympic Project Cost, along with reporting and financial management tools for GP. The company was founded in 1990 and has been involved with GP since 1992.

Rockton Software offers a range of solutions for Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 apps, as well as Acumatica.

Mark Rockwell of Rockton Software stated:

Olympic Systems has the best Project Costing system out there. Rockton has years of great support, service, and products, so it makes natural sense for us to bring the best-of-breed into our offerings.  I believe with our sales and marketing strengths we can reach more GP customers to share with them other new ways to make their Dynamics GP experience Simpler and Easier.

Jim Beers of Olympic Systems noted in the announcement that "[i]t has been a wonderful ride but I am ready to take on the next chapter in my life," and voiced support for Rockton's support of the products and team.
