Microsoft Dynamics CRM MVP Matt Wittemann Joins ClickDimensions as Chief Customer Officer

It's been a big week for Microsoft Dynamics CRM marketing automation solution provider ClickDimensions.  First they announced their Series A funding from Canal Partners, and today they have announced that Microsoft MVP Matt Wittemann has joined on as their chief customer officer.  Wittemann joins the company from C5Insight, where he has been the director of solution architecture since its formation following the merging of other consulting firms in January 2010.

We sat down with Wittemann to discuss his new role, his interests in CRM and marketing, and the future of ClickDimensions and marketing automation for Dynamics CRM.

Previously you were at C5Insight doing customer-facing implementations. What's your history with ClickDimensions software and their team and how did you come to join them?

I'm really excited to be joining ClickDimensions as chief customer officer.  It represents the things I'm most passionate about, and I think it is the future of getting value out of Dynamics CRM.

My passion has always been about marketing and that is how I got into Dynamics CRM. I've talked for years about how to get that last mile accomplished with a CRM implementation.  Until ClickDimensions came along, [marketing automation] was a laborious task, requiring some challenging integrations, manual steps and workarounds.
