Email marketing and marketing automation solution provider for Microsoft Dynamics CRM ClickDimensions has raised Series A funding from Canal Partners LLC, it announced today. ClickDimensions has recently doubled the size of its development team in Tel Aviv, and will use this funding to "expand its sales, marketing, development, and support teams to better meet demand from its growing global customer base and partner channel", according to the company in a statement.

The terms of the investment were not disclosed, but Canal Partners states on its web site that the firm typically invest between $1 and $5 million in portfolio companies.  Its other investments include online properties like Limos.com, NETtime Solutions, and Vocalocity, a VoIP integration that works with Dynamics CRM. Serial entrepreneur Wain Kellum of Vocalocity is also investing in the deal through Canal.

ClickDimensions offers a SaaS marketing automation solution for Dynamics CRM and has grown in less than two years as one of the key Dynamics CRM players in the highly competitive marketing automation space.  They were selected as a member of Microsoft' s BizSpark One program as a startup, which connects participating companies with resources inside Microsoft as well as connections to venture capital firms and other business opportunities. The company was also a finalist for this year's Dynamics CRM Solution of the Year award by Microsoft.

ClickDimensions integrates its marketing tools and data directly into Dynamics CRM and includes email marketing, web site visitor tracking, and other tools for engaging more intelligently and efficiently with prospects and customers.
