Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 moves quietly from Beta to Release Candidate 1 (RC1)

Microsoft moved Dynamics CRM 2013 one step beyond beta last week with the availability of Release Candidate 1 (RC1), making it available to customers and partners while keeping the same limitations in place with regard to limited public disclosure. 

RC1 has been available since last week, as .NET and Dynamics CRM developer Roshan Mehta mentioned in a blog post last week. And blogger and CRM professional Francis Edwin did his part to show some enthusiasm for this next step toward the product release. The timing of RC1 coincided with a flurry of blogging by CRM professionals on favorite new features of Dynamics CRM 2013.  And just before that, Microsoft released the Dynamics  CRM 2013 Release Preview Guide.

Microsoft does not seem to be making any noise about the RC1 build publicly. There is nothing to be found on its Dynamics Community site, either on the blogs or forums. We're awaiting comment from Microsoft on the topic.
