How to Create Bulk Email with Merge Fields and Pics: On the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Team Blog, CRM MVP Frank Lee provides instructions with tips and tricks for bulk emailing with pictures: "A common CRM task during Holiday Seasons is to send out personalized Email greetings with images to customers.  With features like Bulk email Blast and Field Merge ‘Mail Merge', emailing with Microsoft CRM is an easier and greener way to spread the holiday greetings. Here are the steps to easily accomplish this with Microsoft Dynamics CRM v4.0 or Microsoft CRM Online..." Of course, there are lots of "holiday" opportunities.

An Easy Way to Control Which Contacts Sync to Outlook: From the Customer Effective Blog's Jason Farmer: "Let's face it, using local data groups to define which contacts sync to Outlook isn't necessarily for everyone. While some more savvy CRM users will be fine with this, others may ask for a simple way to just ‘check a box' on whichever contacts they want in their Outlook. Turns out, there's a fairly simple way to accomplish this. Granted, there will still need to be a local data rule created, but the end result is a much easier method for a user to pick and choose which contacts they get in Outlook."
