A Rant on Microsoft Software as a Service Gets Once-Over at UK CRM Blog. Of course, software as a service was the big pitch at the recent Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, but it must have struck too close to home for one competitor. Microsoft's UK CRM blog publishes the text of a competitor's email tirade to a new Microsoft CRM customer that the company's new push represents a secret effort to establish a monopoly and strict control of customers. "Now although this was nothing more than a tirade of anti-Microsoft sentiment devoid of coherent argument, what I really found amusing was the appalling misuse of grammar and syntax," concludes Microsoft's UK CRM blogger.

A Small Company Grows Up and Moves from Quickbooks to Dynamics SL: GovCon features an interesting case study of how an IT services firm, InScope Solutions, rapidly outgrew QuickBooks and switched to Dynamics SL. The new project-accounting system decreased auditing time by 50 percent, and reduced book-closing time by one week. As described in a full case study, Dynamics SL enabled the company to place highly competitive and compliant bids to win more government contracts.
