Tectura and iQ4bis in BI Software Partnership to Fill PeformancePoint Void

Tectura Corp., one of the largest implementers in the world of Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV, GP, SL, and CRM software, is partnering with iQ4bis to distribute its business intelligence software.

The move is another indicator of additional opportunity and fluidity in analytics and business intelligence solutions for Microsoft Dynamics with the beta rollout of Management Reporter and the discontinuation of PerformancePoint Server.

Earlier this month, MSDynamicsWorld.com reported that Microsoft has started actively working with Dynamics GP partners to begin recruiting customers for a beta version of the new Management Reporter software as a replacement for existing FRx Financial Reporting installations. 

Tectura is understood to have had 30 of its consultants devote between five and six months to evaluating BI solutions, presumably also including Microsoft's Management Reporter.

The iQ4bis software is targeted at mid-size companies.  According to Frank Wilson, product manager for technology services at Tectura, "Mid-market companies have the same business intelligence needs of many Fortune 500 companies - software that can integrate data, often stored in disparate data sources, and give managers actionable intelligence. These companies need to track and manage key performance indicators (KPI's), Scorecards and Dashboards such as sales, margins, vendors, accounts receivables and account payables."
