Best of the Year: The most popular Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM articles of 2014

With 2014 winding down, it's time to look back at the topics that resonated with MSDynamicsWorld.com readers. We'll be rolling out a few of these lists in the next few days, but let's start with the easiest - the top 10 most popular articles published in 2014 in terms of the number of reads.

From a Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem stakeholder's perspective, the biggest takeaway in the list below could be the broad based interests it reflects - across products, focused largely on new releases. With Dynamics CRM, GP, NAV, and AX now pushing out updates more frequently than ever before, some people worry that both users and partners will become overwhelmed and miss or simply ignore the changes. The outcome of this "most read" list indicates that product updates are not falling on deaf ears. And while they are not being ignored, only time will tell on how well the adoption goes.

1. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 will be the next major release, due later in 2014

Among the Dynamics ERP products, none has progressed more steadily in the past few years than NAV. The product has been modernized in many ways, shedding its old user interface and reporting framework, embracing web services and the cloud, and pushing its mobile strategy forward. The announcement of NAV 2015 was our most read article in 2014, and as the year progressed, we found that the new release would be well received.
