Insight Works on How AI Boosts Efficiency at Biz Apps Partner Executive Summit 2025

At the 2025 Biz Apps Partner Executive Summit, Mark Hamblin from Insight Works delivered a focused message during the ISV Partner Breakout session, “How to Build Successful Relationships Between ISVs and Systems Integrators.” His comments highlighted a key shift that’s reshaping how Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) support their users: AI is no longer just a tool—it’s an engine for real efficiency.

Mark Hamblin began by reaffirming a long-standing ISV priority: make software that makes people’s lives easier. For those working with physical products or real-world logistics, that goal has always centered on improving process efficiency. What’s changing now is the method of delivering that value.

Hamblin shared a concept he introduced decades ago: “more value per click.” The idea was to reduce the number of user interactions required to complete a task: the fewer clicks, the greater the output. At the time, that idea was aspirational, but today, AI and agents are making it possible.

With agents now able to respond to external events and trigger automated processes, users no longer need to initiate every step manually. The system handles routine actions in the background, reducing the need for constant interaction with the software. In some cases, users don’t even need to click at all to move work forward.

This shift enables organizations to streamline user workflows and focus on improving both efficiency and experience. Instead of spending time on repetitive tasks, users can rely on the system to do more heavy lifting, enabling them to concentrate on higher-value work that truly requires their input.

Hamblin made it clear that while ISV priorities haven’t changed, the approach has. The tools now available—including AI and agents—allow teams to systematize processes in new ways and deliver smarter, more seamless solutions to users.

This moment from the Summit event stood out because it reframed AI as a practical solution to a long-standing challenge: helping users get more done with less effort. It’s not about redefining goals; it’s about executing them more effectively.
