Microsoft offers Dynamics 365 Project Operations users Copilot-aided time entry tools in preview

Users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations will begin gaining access to new Copilot generative AI tools aimed at accelerating their time entry tasks. 

Microsoft believes these new Copilot-branded tools, now available in preview, will entice workers to log their time when it is due and to complete them with acceptable comments.

At their core, the new Copilot capabilities for time entry break down into two chat-based tools: drafting time entries for customer-facing work and drafting external-facing comments for them. Time entries generated by Copilot at the request of a user are based on that user’s existing project assignments for the current week and are intended to be a first draft that can be modified.
