Microsoft Dynamics 365 and GDPR: What do customers and partners really think?
In previous articles on MSDynamicsWorld, we talked about the impact of GDPR on Microsoft customers and partners. I even argued that there is a significant opportunity to Microsoft customers and partners with GDPR. I have also recently delivered a number of sessions, webinars, and workshops on Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM and GDPR to a variety of audiences. The interest and interaction on this hot subject speaks to its impact to so many of us.

In a recent session at the UK Chapter of the Dynamics 365/CRM User Group, I chaired a panel of experts discussing how to make Dynamics 365 solutions compliant with GDPR. I used this opportunity to collect customer and partner feedback on GDPR, including how they see it impacting them and, most importantly, what capabilities they expect Dynamics 365 to deliver to help them get closer to compliance.
With the help of the fantastic team at CRMUG, Tony Stein to name one, we managed to collect this anonymous feedback from our participants using instant poll questions with survey answers collected in percentages.
I also have the privilege to be in direct and regular contact with Microsoft's Dynamics 365 product team and individuals focusing on GDPR features and capabilities within the Dynamics platform.
