DynamicsMinds 2024: Microsoft prepares Dynamics community for latest AI vision

Dynamics and Power Platform professionals and users want to know more about Microsoft's Copilot priorities. But with the company’s steady cadence of new AI-based features, many in the community remain unsure how Microsoft's effort impact their roles and their organizations, whether in selling software, in improving customer outcomes, or in streamlining operations.

At DynamicsMinds 2024, the Dynamics and Power Platform community event held in the coastal city of Portoroz, Slovenia, roughly a thousand attendees heard Microsoft's latest positioning on Copilot offerings and AI-related services, both in existing Dynamics apps and for role-based copilots like Sales and Finance. 

Copilot for Finance, which is designed for finance professionals and can integrate with both Dynamics 365 Finance and other enterprise-grade systems, has over 15,000 monthly active users, according to Microsoft officials who spoke at the event. And Microsoft’s internal sales and service teams now use Copilot for Sales and Copilot in D365 Customer Engagement apps as part of their standard practices, officials told the event audience.

Microsoft have started using the term “Copilot ERP” when describing their AI plans in the ERP space.
