Meet the New Microsoft Dynamics AX, And The Existing Customers That Have Embraced It

The New Microsoft Dynamics AX goes public this week with a focus on new deployments first (no upgrades yet), but existing AX customers are still among the early adopters of the new release.
Hagler Systems, which engineers and builds dredging and mining equipment, became part of the new AX TAP program and went live in February. They left behind an on-premise AX 2012 system as they looked to expand their user base, shed legacy IT costs, and position themselves to better engage with their expanding supply chain and services practice.
We already looked at Microsoft partner and AX implementation specialist firm SAGlobal, which also went live on the new AX as part of the TAP program, moving from an older version of AX. Another early customer of the new AX is Renault Sport F1, formerly known as Lotus F1, which has had plans to migrate from AX 2012 as part of their broad and ongoing partnership with Microsoft. And with Microsoft's virtual launch events kicking off on March 8 and 9, Hagler Systems' story has been featured this week by Microsoft to illustrate why Microsoft believes a cloud AX solution makes sense in the mid-market.
