Microsoft Plucks Salesforce Exec for VP of Microsoft Dynamics in Asia
Microsoft has announced Simon Davies as its new vice president of Microsoft Business Solutions for Asia.
Davies will drive the Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM business across sales, business development, marketing, partner strategy and development and go-to-market product strategies in Asia Pacific, including China, India and Japan.
Davies joins Microsoft from Salesforce.com, where he was most recently Asia-area vice-president. His experience before Salesforce included leadership roles at Oracle and Citibank. His experience as a cloud computing evangelist and business development leader includes selling and implementing IT solutions in Asia for over 16 years.

Davies will report to Neil Holloway, corporate vice president, Microsoft Business Solutions Sales & Partners, and will step into his new role on October 14, 2015.
