Edgewater acquires Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online specialist firm Zero2Ten
Edgewater Technology Inc., has acquired Zero2Ten Inc., an award-winning Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner. The deal is worth approximately $5 million, plus additional "earnings-based contingent consideration of up to approximately $8.6 million".
Zero2Ten will join Edgewater Fullscope, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater and a provider of Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM solutions and services, to offer Microsoft solutions and cloud-based services to manufacturers of all sizes.
The acquisition was completed after the close of business on March 13, 2015. Zero2Ten's operating results will be combined with those of Edgewater's beginning on March 16, 2015.
"With Zero2Ten, Edgewater Fullscope will have one of our strongest Microsoft Dynamics manufacturing offerings, providing customers with a strategic path that is aligned with Microsoft's vision for business applications in the cloud," said Neil Holloway, Corporate Vice President, Sales, Microsoft Dynamics, in a statement.
A Dynamics CRM partner with over 800 clients worldwide, Zero2Ten has built a reputation as an high performing organization in the delivery of Dynamics CRM Online solutions.
Zero2Ten focuses on manufacturers and offers several options, including strategic intellectual property offerings as well as hosted services and licenses to help those companies mitigate the risks often associated with typical CRM projects, officials said.
Combining Zero2Ten with Edgewater Fullscope will enable the company to accelerate the delivery of its cloud-based offerings to the manufacturing market, according to Edgewater Fullscope Senior Vice President Russell Smith.
Paul Colella, CEO of Zero2Ten said the firms' shared commitment to providing Dynamics solutions to manufacturers makes companies a natural fit.
In November, Zero2Ten customer, UK-based Victrex, received Microsoft's 2014 Industry Excellence Award for Europe in manufacturing.
