Dynamics Profile: Development of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM professional, from student to MVP
Simply put: Self-described geek and first-time Microsoft MVP, Atilio Rosas Estigarribia is passionate about Dynamics CRM.
Currently a software developer at CastleCRM, a CRM consultancy in Spain, Estigarribia fell in love with the application just about ten years ago when he was first introduced to version 1.2 in his hometown of Lima, Peru.
Since that time he's worked on a variety of CRM projects in different roles, including developer, project manager, and consultant. And he now makes his home in Madrid
"My first job was in CRM and I've spent all my life working with it," Estigarribia said.
He was first introduced to Dynamics CRM when he a was a student at the University of San Martin de Porres in Lima. At the time Microsoft was recruiting students to learn Dynamics CRM.
"I was in my last year and Microsoft asked me if I wanted to try and develop in CRM so I said, ‘Why not,'" Estigarribia explained. "And ten years later, I am here working with CRM. I love CRM because you can do anything with it. You can do verticals in eBanking and the next month you can do a vertical in insurance."
Estigarribia made his way from Lima to Spain - initially Barcelona - in November 2006.
"When I was living in Lima, my company [at the time], asked if I wanted to go to Spain to work on a project. And I said, "Yes, I'll go,'" he said.
