HP expanding delivery of Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM enterprise services in Asia

HP has announced the expansion of its Microsoft Dynamics application solutions portfolio with additional offshore capacity in India, China and the Philippines. The company has also acquired Arvato Systems' Dynamics practice in Asia. Under the terms of the agreement, employees of Arvato Systems' Microsoft Dynamics practice in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia have joined HP, according to company officials.

HP has had a rapidly growing Dynamics practice in India, China and Australia for the past three years, says Sandie Overtveld, general manager for Microsoft Applications Services in HP Asia Pacific and Japan.

"The Dynamics practice is organically doubling in size annually but we have strong aspirations to accelerate this significantly faster," said Overtveld. "We see tremendous opportunities for Dynamics throughout Asia as customers consolidate their ERP and upgrade from legacy systems,"

She added that because of its vast size combined with its numerous languages and cultural differences, doing business in Asia requires a well-planned approach by an experienced global or regional player.

By building on its existing investments in cloud services, analytics and data management, and mobility, Overtveld said HP can offer business process as a service (BPaaS) solutions for enterprises on the Dynamics platform, which doesn't require a large upfront capital investment.

Overtveld said the types opportunities HP is well suited to win in Asian countries with a Dynamics-based solution include:

  • Consumer Packaged Goods Distribution Channel Management: a hosted Microsoft Dynamics AX environment combined with integrated trade promotions management.
  • Automotive Dealer Management Sales and Service: a range of solutions focused on OEM's requirements to drive brand messaging consistently across sales and services channels to increase revenue.
  • Bank Branch Automation and Transformation: a multichannel solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM ...
