Troyer Foods Inc., Selects JustFoodERP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Replace its Custom Solution

Midwest distribution company, Troyer Foods Inc. has decided to partner with JustFoodERP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV to serve its business software needs into the coming decade.

Founded in 1948, Troyer Foods is a food service supplier and specialty retail supplier of fresh and processed meats, seafood, deli and bakery items.

"We did our due diligence when making this decision. Obviously there are lots of ERP choices, but a lot of those choices look their age," said Paris Ball-Miller, Co-Owner and President of Troyer Foods, in a statement.

Ball-Miller said although the company initially preferred an Oracle solution, it was more comfortable with Microsoft's strategy to serve companies of its size.

"Microsoft and JustFoodERP provide a user interface, compelling product roadmap and a technology platform that isn't represented in other ERP systems," Ball-Miller said. "This decision wasn't made on just what we need right now-this decision was looking at our business model for now, five years, 10 years and beyond."

Vice President of JustFoodERP, Marc DiGiorgio said Troyer Food's decision was an important validation of the software development and roadmap his company has been working on for distribution companies.

"Paris will join our Customer Advisory Council as his business size and level of growth are what our distribution customers will want as a benchmark," DiGiorgio said. "We aren't just looking for customers, we are looking for partners and this is a great union."
