Zuora to run subscription management services on Microsoft Azure, integrate with Dynamics 365 and Power BI
Subscription management vendor Zuora has announced a new multi-part agreement with Microsoft that includes application hosting on Azure, integration of Zuora Revenue with Dynamics 365 Finance, and new capabilities to embed Power BI reports into Zuora applications.
Zuora Revenue, which supports revenue recognition standards and processes, will have a bi-directional connection to Dynamics 365 Finance, according to the company.
“Zuora customers work on a massive scale but need to deliver top-quality customized experiences to each individual subscriber,” said Zuora chief product and engineering officer Sri Srinivasan in a statement “These new integrations between Zuora Revenue and Microsoft will deliver incredible agility into the tools that finance professionals use globally, offer new insights into subscription and revenue recognition analytics, and provide cloud infrastructure that scales to support the world's largest companies.”
Srinivasan also happens to be a former Microsoft product leader for Dynamics ERP. He left Microsoft in 2018 to join Cisco, then joined Zuora in early 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile.
