Trillium Software Announces Microsoft Alliance for Improved Data Quality in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

Trillium Software, a business of Harte-Hanks Inc. and a provider of Total Data Quality solutions has entered into an alliance with Microsoft to drive the integration between the Trillium Software System data quality solution and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

Trillium Software's data quality service integrates with both on-premise and online versions of Dynamics CRM 2011, according to the companies.

"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is designed to offer a flexible and extensible framework to enable organizations like Trillium Software-who have deep industry expertise-to integrate and deliver rich business value to customers," said Mark Albrecht, director Microsoft Dynamics ISV Strategy, in a statement.

 Microsoft Dynamics CRM offers a Software Development Kit so enterprises can seamlessly access Trillium Software enterprise services for cleansing and matching capabilities, according to officials. The integration will also ensure continuous data lifecycle management for a wide variety of applications. The data will be evaluated and cleansed at the point of data entry, to make it more accurate and therefore more valuable earlier in its lifecycle, officials said. Access to the Trillium Software cleansing and matching capabilities can occur via a data quality services call from Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the Trillium Software System in Windows Azure or any on-premises implementation, according to the companies.

"CRM, or any business-driven application, is ultimately more effective if the information flowing through it is holistically managed with automated data quality solutions.  Applications can be exponentially more impactful to the business if the data is cleansed in real time to ensure users have the best information available at their fingertips," said John Nicoli, managing director, Harte-Hanks Trillium Software, in the statement.
