In Three New Deals, Microsoft Dynamics Partners Merge, Grow Customer Bases

Three recent deals on different continents continued the trend of Microsoft Dynamics service provider acquisitions as partners seek to broaden their reach both geographically and across industries.

In the US, Fine Solutions, a Gold Certified Microsoft Dynamics partner based in the Pacific Northwest, announced that it has acquired the Dynamics clients of Portland-based Dynamics and Sage consulting firm ISM. This acquisition will help accelerate the 18% growth that Fine Solutions has experienced in 2009, according to a statement.  Last year, the company opened an office in Portland.

"This is an important milestone in our continued growth," said Dan Fine, Managing Partner of Fine Solutions. "We are excited about the new clients and partners that this acquisition will bring to Fine, as well as the benefits that Oregon Dynamics companies will gain having a new, aggressive player in the market."

Last week, Microsoft-based business technology services firm Avanade announced it has completed its previously announced acquisition of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM assets of Ascentium Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Ascentium Federal, Inc., making Avanade the leading dedicated provider of services for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Approximately 90 Ascentium CRM professionals joined Avanade as part of the acquisition, most of them located in Baltimore, Md., and Bellevue, Wash.  Ascentium's CRM practice based in Baltimore is strong in the federal space, with both experienced consultants and CRM solutions for the federal government. Ascentium solutions include most notably its "Tasker Management Tracker" XRM solution which was built for the US Air Force to do task and troop management.
