Showpad Announces Integration with Dynamics CRM for Content Activation, Engagement Tracking

Content activation platform Showpad has announced that it now integrates with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Tailored to marketers, sales reps and sales managers, Showpad's integration is supported for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, 2015 and 2016.

A sales enablement tool, Showpad gives sales teams instant access to the right content while engaging with clients and prospects, according to officials.

Sales reps get insights from Showpad in Dynamics CRM whenever content is shared with a prospect and when that prospect engages with shared content, according to company officials. After they're notified, the sales reps can identify the deals that are at risk and deliver the most accurate sales forecasts.

The integration allows sales reps to view all the content shared with any account, opportunity, contact or lead as well as view how prospects engage with content in Dynamics CRM.

"Most teams don't track whether content has an effect on deal outcomes, but Showpad's integration allows sales to collect data around how content is used with prospects, and then use that information to make critical business decisions," he said in a statement.

The solution also gives marketing managers insight into how the content they produce is driving revenue and are able to identify how salespeople use this content during meetings with prospects, according to company officials.

Capturing engagement data and providing intelligent recommendations is increasingly of interest in content marketing; also in the relationship-building school of sales, wherein a salesperson might send an FAQ document, a contract, even a useful article.
