Seismic to bring sales and marketing content platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI

Sales and marketing content platform provider Seismic has announced a series of product updates that strengthen its integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Office 365 and boost its use of Power BI and Azure services.

Seismic's content management and delivery capabilities will become better integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an update that is coming soon, according to the company. The Seismic platform's predictive content engine will help sellers and marketers rank the most relevant content, view content recommendations, and drive recommendations off contextual data within Dynamics 365 Sales.

The company already had a lighter integration with Dynamics 365/CRM in place that essentially displayed the Seismic platform within Dynamics, according to a spokesperson. With the updated integration, customers will now be able incorporate Dynamics data from opportunities to help determine the best content for sellers to use and when.

The venture-funded company has a more established integration story with other CRM and marketing platforms like Salesforce, Marketo, and Oracle Marketing Cloud.

Seismic is also launching LiveInsights, a new analytics suite built on Power BI to track content effectiveness, platform adoption, content usage, and buyer engagement. The solution can be used for planning marketing content management and development, as well as for sales teams that want better insight on content performance, according to the company

And the company announced that its virtual collaboration and coaching platform, WorkSpace, will be integrated with Office 365 tools, allowing for content editing using PowerPoint and Word from within the Seismic platform, in addition to providing comments and feedback capabilities.
